Accountant Wanted
With our business continually growing we require an experienced accountant or accounting technician to join our team. This is a full-time position of 36 hours per week. The hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 3:00pm, Fridays.
We are looking for someone that has a passion for working with numbers, takes pride in processing and presenting accurate accounts and wants to make a difference with their clients. This position involves working with your own clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded and also assisting other team members where possible. You will need to have the ability to provide weekly/monthly accounts as well as annual accounts and taxation. This position is a great mixture of management and annual accounting. Responsibilities will include: Financial statements, tax compliance, preparation of tax returns, monthly reconciliations, GST returns, Payroll, PAYE, debtors, creditors and financial reporting.
You must have a minimum of two years experience working for an accountancy firm in a similiar position.
We take pride in the services we provide our clients, therefore, it is essential that this person displays initiative, works proactively, pays attention to detail and has excellent organisation skills. You will need to have experience with AO, MYOB business products, MS Word and Excel. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication is a must.
We deal with multiple businesses and industries so this position is definitely filled with variety.
